O&M’s journey began with a passion for natural products, well-being, and beauty. Witnessing the adverse effects of harsh chemicals on hairdressers and clients, founder Jose Bryce Smith was driven to make a difference. The first ammonia-free salon in Australia marked the start of O&M’s commitment to providing safe and natural haircare solutions.
Their dedication led to the development of the O&M Method, a care and styling line formulated without harmful sulfates, parabens, propylene glycol, MIT, and Triclosan. Emphasising ethics in their practices, O&M obtained the Cruelty-Free PETA Certification, ensuring no animals are harmed during product development.
In 2013, O&M achieved the seemingly impossible by introducing Clean Colour Technology – a permanent professional hair colour without ammonia, PPD, or resorcinol. This breakthrough offered exceptional results without unpleasant odors or fumes, revolutionising the hair colour experience.
